How to BOOT from IOMEGA IDE ZIP250 drive?

	Hello,

I have a problem booting Debian from ZIP250 drive

I need to boot from zip disk and also mount it as a root. I have one diskete
partitioned and with Debian Potato installed on it. In my workstation
I am able to boot from it but not in PowerEdge350 router.

The zip drive is connected on second IDE controller as a master. (/dev/hdc)
zip diskette is formated with partition table and one partition /dev/hdc1.
The router doesn't have floppy drive and also the diskette controller is
disabled in BIOS.

I got as far as I can see a LIL- message with this setting on boot.

In /etc/lilo I have
boot=/dev/hdc
disc=/dev/hdc bios=0	    -- the "bios=0" setting I found in booting from LS120
root=/dev/hdc1
I dont use linear, compact, lba32. When I try these it doesnt work or be the same.

The BIOS setings related to ZIP drive:
IDE Secondary Master: IOMEGA ZIP 250
        Type: ATAPI Removable
        LBA Mode Control: Disabled -- I also used Enabled, doesnt matter
        Multi-Sector Transfers: 16 Sectors
        PIO Mode: 0
        Ultra DMA: Mode 0
        Use ARMD drive as: Auto -- it's the same as Floppy

The boot sequence (priority) is boot only from Floppy
1st Boot Device: Floppy

My workstation is DELL OptiPlex GX1.
The bootable zip diskete was created in it and the workstation is able to boot
from the zip disk.
BIOS settings related to ZIP drive:
Bootup Sequence: ATAPI Zip Drive A:, Diskette Drive A:, HardDisk Drive C:
Disketta Drive A:       3.5
Use Zip as A or B: On
Primary Drive 0:        EIDE 20520
Primary Drive 1: Bootable Zip drive
