I need to set up a back-up
serverserver for our network and need recommendation for a
good backup software to enable me do that. However my back up is going to
be done using a 2gig jaz drive attached to the backup server.
Could you guys help me in choosing a backup server
that will allow me use a jaz drive?
Secondly while seaching for information on on
backup server I took a look at Amanda and got the following
description.
AMANDA, the Advanced Maryland Automatic Network
Disk Archiver, is a backup system that allows the administrator of a LAN to set
up a single master backup server to back up multiple hosts to a single large
capacity tape drive.
My question is will this software allow me to make
backups to a jaz drive or must I use only a tape drive.
