I have added dl("mysl.so) in my html files and it did not work
I have added extension=mysql.so to my php3.ini and it still complians of
unsupported or undefined when suing mysql_connect.
I have purge the installation and redid it with no sucess..

I have been trying all the angles I could muster for 3days now with no
success. I even downgrated from the version in potato to slink becase of
it. I am at a loss. So I am taken the only radical route open to me.

Recompiling.

TIA
