[URGENT] proftpd

Hi all guys,
my development workstation just broken down and I won't be able to
fix it for the next few days (it needs new hardware and I will leave soon
for a few days vacation). I need urgently someone to take over this task
and prepare some test packages that i will upload in the IPv6 archive as
soon as possible. Please coordinate the work and the tests on the mailing
list. It can be the difference of having ipv6 upstream or not.

Thanks a lot
Fabio

Subject: [Proftpd-devel] IPv6 testers needed

Hello, proftpd developers. IPv6 support is on the roadmap for this
release cycle; given that such support requires changes to a substantial
portion of the core code, the potential for bugs is very high. In order
to make sure that proftpd remains stable after committing changes for IPv6
support, I'm asking for as many testers as possible to apply the patch
mentioned in the IPv6 feature request report:

  http://bugs.proftpd.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1711

and report on its success/failure/problems. Without sufficient testing,
the IPv6 may be distributed, as a patch, along with the normal source
distribution, rather than being incorporated directly and working "out of
the box".

Cheers,
TJ
