I see the point. probably xfs needs a minimal patch similar to the xserver
one in order to understand correctly what to do. It is a sort of bug
anyway. Thanks for noticing it.

Yes i guess so. If i will have the possibility i will try to reproduce
that envorinment and so a patch for xauth but don't expect anything in the
near future. it takes time to setup and patch....
