IMHO this is the best thing to do for now as ip6.arpa isn't ready for
use yet.

In my opinion, yes. Even if the change to ip6.arpa would come soon,
which I doubt, ip6.int is gonna be around for a while.
Checking both of them would probably be the best solution but that
should be a upstream decision and maybe discussed on some of the
ipv6-related lists. Until that is done ip6.int is the one that should
be used.

Getting some nameservers for the zone would be a good start :)
