Openssh had the same sort of problem.. Near as I can guess BSD's map ipv4
connects to ipv4 sockets if you have an ipv6 listening socket so they
don't have code to convert the ipv4mapped address to something sane. I
think apache should be patched to do that, the patch should not interfere
with anything AFAIK..
