That helped, turned out that the hotfixes happily install old DLLs over newer ones, so that I was back at 1969.38 or so. Now I'm at .66 and everything runs fine I thought it was safe to install them in ascending numerical order, but apparently it's not that easy :( Thanks! -Michael
