Yes, it's the old alternate Recommends in ibus and fixed in ibus 1.5.21-5. It was an ibus issue and it doesn't have to be handled by another package.
It struck me that I have Lubuntu 20.04 in a VM, so I just tested: sudo apt install ibusand yes, it suggests to pull ibus-gtk and ibus-gtk3. So I'll drop those dependencies (plus ibus-clutter) in unstable.
Most other ibus language engine packages don't have such Depends.
Hmm.. Only my two packages seem to have them. The other one is the recently accepted ibus-typing-booster. So I guess I'd better drop them there too.
