Ok.
That brings us back to my first question: on which package file a bugreport,
to get the Ponape-Pohnpei problem (if it is considered beeing a problem)
in debian-installer?

Ah, you are right, with "LC_ALL=C" you see Ponape.
With my german locale settings, I have Pohnpei.
The german translater has already translated the english
"Ponape" to "Pohnpei".
