thanks for the inside info.

To be honest I haven't really thought about what to do if nobody answered, but I
already have one reply from Yuri Kozlov. I guess I would not have held the
change back ...

Regarding the what you call realistic view on things, maybe you (as l10n/i18n)
would want to put this somewhere prominent?

The reason why I wrote the mail in the first place, is that I easily found these
pages:

	http://i18n.debian.net/wiki/
	http://wiki.debian.org/I18n

However those pages look like landing pages for people already familiar with the
whole effort.

I guess what I am sayng is, I was looking for an FAQ and found none. Maybe I did
not look hard enough though.

If there is an FAQ, how about linking to it from the New Maintainer Guide? And
putting it on those pages above?
