The full text of the announcement is at http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2009/02/msg00000.html Translators, please focus on and be ready for the Release Notes update. This is the most important bit which you can work on until the release. Web site translators (see debian-www) should also be ready tp update translations for various web pages. My own suggestion is trying to update what you can as it is now AND follow -i18n very closely to be ready to update changed files, if there are some, during the probably very short translation update window. ----- Forwarded message from Adeodato Simó <dato@net.com.org.es> ----- Date: Sun, 1 Feb 2009 22:57:12 +0100 From: Adeodato Simó <dato@net.com.org.es> To: debian-devel-announce@lists.debian.org Subject: Release update: deep freeze, planned dates, and remaining bugs X-Mailing-List: <debian-devel-announce@lists.debian.org> archive/latest/1100 X-CRM114-Status: Good ( pR: 46.1435 ) .../... Finally, if you can't fix RC bugs, maybe you can help with the Release Notes. A call for help was sent back in November [4], and this is the last opportunity to provide any patches before the coordinators set a freeze date for translators to work.
