After "the compromise of Debian Servers", DDTP stops for a while.
Then it was resurrected and we start working on that again. After a couple
of thread we discover that some teams had given up of DDTP since there are
no support for it in apt tools.

Recently a group of people start working to check the DDTP code
(to be sure that there are no trojan horses on it because of the compromise),
it became the Alioth Project, the idea is also bring more people to DDTP
development to get better responses.

As far as I remember, some apt tools got the feature to query
translated descriptions and "grisu" also [1]exchange some ideas in -i18n
about a "new DDTP" with more features and maybe using pseudo-urls.

Last time I saw, Otavio and grisu are involved with the new
DDTP system (both are cc'ed), and maybe Margarita was working on it too,
I'm not sure. Anyway, as I said before, should be a good idea to get
DDTP integrated in the new framework. :))

	Kind regards,
