Here you have the noun _kernel_: that's the essential thing.
However, it's not just a kernel, it's a specific type of kernel, called
a _boot_ kernel. Here the word boot acts as an adjective, describing
the noun kernel.
Therefore the options or parameters (used loosely as synonyms) should
belong to the boot-type kernel. They should be boot-kernel options (or
parameters).
