I have constructed a pretty thorough map these past hours, but i'm 
still missing a few configurations for these languages:

Belarussian
Estonian
Hungarian
Icelandic
Latin American
 (i see there are two keymaps for XkbLayout, es_la and la)
European
 (used in mac-usb-euro, which countries does this map onto?)
Macedonian
Romanian
Serbian

Anyway, excluding the missing maps, it seems to work quite well, 
and it has support for normal pc kbds, macintosh keyboards (the new 
usb ones) and sun (type 4 & 5) keyboards.

I'll post more info soon.
