The ISO-3166 code for Czech Republic is CZ.
The ISO-639 code for the Czech language is "cs". Note the lower case.

The best solution to cope with ISO-3166 codes being reassigned is to
keep up-to-date with the standard (and/or use one copy of the standard).
This is one point of the iso-codes package: to avoid multiple programs
within Debian / Linux having inconsistent copies (as is the case now).
Note this is important for Debian stable in the future: at current
timescales, it will be important to update the ISO codes lists in Debian
stable to cope with new assignments, without requiring backports of
Gnome, KDE, Mozilla, Apache, ... iso-codes localises the changes to an
easily auditable place.
