The manpages-XX packages (and I maintain the -es) should be kept as reduced as possible and should tend to disappear. Users not wanting manpages (or po's) for that matter can reduce their hard-disk space through apt/dpkg mechanims. IMHO _only_ if we had a general repository for Debian localization stuff (as KDE/GNOME do) we should encourage translators to use these generic manpages. Not having one, it's more feasible to ask translators to coordinate with upstream its inclusion. Regards Javi
