The beta release is not, but it should be easy to forward port
the Debian work into the beta. As far as I can tell, the changes
involved are fairly trivial.

I have mentioned what think are the relevant changes in
another email; however, I am not an gettext expert. Perhaps looking
at the debian flex code would be more helpful?
