Hello, You'll notice that your base hurd-i386 system will get upgraded with the next mirror pulse. gcc was indeed still building for i586 only, thus not benefitting from the i686 instructions, notably cmov. This is now fixed in gcc and I triggered the rebuild of the base system to benefit from the slight performance improvement. Samuel
