Re: Bug#399608: fixed in sysvinit 2.88dsf-59.1

Hi Andreas,

(clearing the CC list, as this issue is specific to non-Linux OSes.)

I'd love if porters got more involved in helping out with util-linux

one of the issues I'm noticing with the new util-linux upload is that
mountpoint(1) has been moved to bin:mount, which is arch:linux-any,
thus creating boot issues on non-Linux systems.

So far I see two ways of solving the issue:

a) move mountpoint(1) to bin:util-linux

b) make bin:mount as arch:any, making sure to ship mountpoint(1) and its
man page everywhere, while the rest (i.e. the current content) only
   on Linux.

IMHO (a) would be the cleaner solution, but of course any other idea is
welcome.

Thanks,
