I suppose "-r" is not the wanted switch, all variants for GNU/kFreeBSD are in http://lists.debian.org/debian-bsd/2006/06/msg00005.html "uname -r" will currently print "6.2-1-486" or "6.2-1-686" or ... Please, could hurd porters send similar output of uname invocation. Many thanks Petr
