Booting The Debian GNU/Hurd get locked

Hello,

After following this:

http://www.debian.org/ports/hurd/hurd-install

installation guide, I get this message at boot:

(this is what I see on the screen)

ide1 at 0x170-0x177, 0x3f6 on irq 15

Now the system lock. It's not responding.

I installed from debian-gnu-hurd-2004.12.30.tar.gz. I have ABIT NF7-S (nforce 2 with SCSI controller that is in no use) motherboard, WD800JB hard disc (ATA connected), the Debian GNU/Hurd is on hda1or hd0s1 (I hope :-) ), It's a 6 GB (maybe this is it?) ext2 hurd partition.

What is the problem and how can I fix it?

I'll be glade to give more info,

Thanks,

Yuval
