If you don't send proper bug reports, there's no way we can help you.
Rebuild them with debugging symbols (if possible), then run them with GDB
and send us a backtrace.

Which do you mean here, the Hurd, or the full GNU/Hurd system? If you mean the
Hurd, the Debian Hurd package needs an update and we're preparing it, if you
mean the full GNU system, I don't recommend you to install from older tarballs.
