I'd like to take your message from December 2000 (msg 149) and copy it 
pretty much verbatim into HTML so:

a)   It's ready for posting onto any possible Hurd 'one-stop' website

b)  I can also convert it to PDF so it would be available in a format 
that would print consistently whatever system setup the potential viewer 
had.

I just wanted your ok before my act of shameless plagiarism :)
