Just a litle precision: translators are normal binaries, you can invoke
them from the prompt: many of them support the '--help' option. Just log
into a box running GNU and type '/hurd/ftpfs --help' or whatever you like.
I personnaly used it many times, because I'm new to GNU and don't know
the syntax of all translators.
