What would helpful is if Attila Nagy would loop the CD image so people
could download the boot-floppies. It would also mean that they could look
at what has been included in the CD. debian-cd is very fussy about what
it includes and it would be very helpful to find out why certain packages
have not been included.
As it turned out the butchering of boot-floppies was quite straight
forward and I hope to have another crack at this in about a week.
debian-CD is more difficult to handle at the moment mainly because it
"audits" packages and their dependencies. There is quite a bit of work
that needs to be done here by package maintainers. If I had not switched
off mirror-check there would not have been any CD.
I have applied to become a Debian Maintainer and once I am through the
process I should be able to upload various scripts and DV, submit
disks-hurd-i386 for inclusion in the mirror.
Phil.
