hurd won't boot 2nd time

Hello,

After a long absence from Hurd, I have decided to try it again.

I followed the instructions at:

http://www.gnu.org/software/hurd/easy.html

Step 5 went OK, and I booted, and run native-install (for the first
time). However, then I was instructed to reboot.

Now MACH comes gets to the message:

scsi : 0 hosts.
scsi : detected total.

...before crashing.

What should come next?
Is this a MACH problem, or a HURD problem?

I have:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 745182 Oct 1 04:52 gnumach_1.2-7.deb
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1977958 Sep 25 04:52 hurd_20000921.deb

which I believe is the latest version.
