If you used dpkg-cross, you can install from Debian GNU/Linux by
cd /gnu
./dpkg-cross -i *deb

You can extract the content of a package from Debian GNU/Linux with
dpkg-deb -x *deb /path/to/where/extract
Or you can use ar/tar to extract manually. A deb is just an ar achive file
which contains several tar.gz files. The data is in data.tar.gz
If you have problems, let me know and I will put up a tar with the files
somewhere.
I am now uploading a fixed package, which will appear in
http://incoming.debian.org, so you can also upgrade if you want. I tested it
this time.
