What you are seeing does not sound like any known problems I am aware of. Are you using the latest libc package? Can you give us more specific and detailed reports? If you are in fact seeing some kind of data corruption or misread data, can you produce a simpler test case that reproduces the problem? The only reports of data corruption I am aware of involve chunks of zero blocks, which does not sound like it is what you are seeing.
