No. I actually re-installed the damaged partition (sorry)
so that I could continue working on gdb, and was able to
work on hd0s3 without incident. There do not seem to be
any errors on that partition.
Just curious: what work are you doing on gdb? I'm at least pretending
to be the ``maintainer'' of gdb on the Hurd, and I think we should
avoid doing duplicate work on gdb.
