Emulation

Hi,
    How will/does the emulation principle work.

a) Can one have other os based applications/data in same partition

b) Can one read/write and use such other os specific apps/data

c) can these other os/apps/data reside in another directory in same
partition
    and/or do they need a filesystem like dos or windows etc and can one
    store such in a loop based area/dir within same partition as
debian/gnu/hurd
    and if so does the mach partition ?83? support this with the
micro-kernel
    and how would a multi-boot kernel differ like in flux-oskit multiboot
kernels
    please explain if possible ...
