I encountered the following problem while cross-installing the Hurd from
RedHat box:
/hurd/dpkg-hurd: [: too many arguments

Investigation showed that the version of "test" supplied with RedHat was
unhappy with  "==" syntax in comparisons. Changing "==" with "=" solved the
problem and installation ran flawlessly. I believe that the usage of "=" is
more correct and portable, so could you, please, consider incorporating the
change into dpkg-hurd.
