Do you use the latest version of dpkg-hurd? Can you send the dpkg-hurd you
use to me?
Can you change the invocation of the script with "sh -x ./dpkg-hurd" so we
see where it fails?
I can't help you if I don't have this information, because it works fine for
me and several other people.
