update...I started from scratch again to clean things up and redo things
I did the above command instead with the current mke2fs in potato and
everything went smoothly. Tho I'm jonesing for apt-get... :(
well hopefully I will have a usable system (to an extent) soon enough and
I can start getting used to it...and then start working on packages within
my experience level. :)
I am just soooo glad that dpkg-ftp works through a proxy... :)
looks good so far...I just have to get it through my head that this isn't
linux so that I won't keep trying to download the linux kernel. :)
