This message can probably be ignored. It did add the user to /etc/passwd
anyway, didn't it? Is there a user named "login" in /etc/passwd?
Or did the Hurd package indeed not configure? Mmmh. Maybe I should recheck
my postinst logic. As a quick fix you can comment out the adduser stuff in
/var/lib/dpkg/hurd.postinst, it is barely needed.

Mmh. Yeah. There is something wrong. Try "touch /var/run/mtab" before
rebooting. We really need to fix e2fsprogs. Anybody wants to do it? It
should assume an empty mtab if noone is to be found.
