   You mean `make install' failed to install these?  I think that
   might be normal for the cross-compilation case.

We skip the sunrpc altogether when compiling libc for the Hurd right
now.  I must have copied them by hand some time ago.

   That should have been produced by the libc build and install
   process.  Please report the problem to libc-hacker if it was not.

There seems to be a problem:

I'll investigate this.

   Yes!  I just bit myself with this one last night.

Shouldn't the gcc specs file be changed to produce binaries with
ld.so.1 as the name of the interpreter instead of ld.so?

I have reported this and it should be fixed in the next release.
