Re: New install media

The DI_DIR points to the cdrom directory. I have used this image to install on an A180c and a C8000 and has found cd drivers every time.

I'm pretty sure the cd is built correctly.

Hi Mike,

I think the installer-CD is is missing the cdrom drivers.
Please check in the easy-build.sh script that DI_DIR points to the cd directory, and not to netboot.

Check this:
export DI_DIR="/..../DEBIAN_INSTALLER/debian-installer/installer/build/tmp/netboot"
and point it to the full /tmp image instead.
(this is wrong in my description/patch in https://parisc.wiki.kernel.org/images-parisc/2/2e/Debian-cd.patch.txt)

Hello;
I am trying to install debian 9. from scratch disk1
my HP visualize B2000 boots OK from CD to the point where I select country, language.
it stops at next step indicating cant mount CD rom

can you help me?
I don't understand why installation disk does not recognize my cdrom. it is an IDE.
