failure to install or remove ajaxterm in 3.1

Hi,

I just tried to install ajaxterm on a HP 712/80 running Debian 3.1 (stable). However, I can neither completely install nor remove the package :-( When I install, I get:

asmodeus:~# apt-get install ajaxterm
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
ajaxterm is already the newest version.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 427 not upgraded.
1 not fully installed or removed.
Need to get 0B of archives.
After unpacking 0B of additional disk space will be used.
Setting up ajaxterm (0.9-2) ...

dpkg: error processing ajaxterm (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
 ajaxterm

When I try to remove it again, I get:

asmodeus:~# apt-get remove ajaxterm

The following packages will be REMOVED:

Removing ajaxterm ...

dpkg: error while cleaning up:

Looks like the package is broken, i.e. does not install on hppa debian 3.1. Can anyone help?

Jens
