Hi Joel,

Thanks again for helping me with this. I think the problem is that
you don't have "discover1" or "hotplug" installed. I think this is
at least the problem with lasi ethernet not getting loaded and may
be a contributing factor for this as well.

Could you, at your leisure, try installing either or both of these
packages and giving it another boot?
