Indeed, it's possible to run Debian on x86 with less than 32 MB and it 
does a good job on some tasks, that don't rely on heavy memory!

Beside that I also run Debian on two 712/60 (1x 64MB, 1 x128MB). 
Installation with less than 32 MB failed for both of these workstation.
