Hi Max,

Two possible problems: 
1. You burned the CDROM incorrectly without the bootloader (e.g. most Windows
programs get it wrong) -> use Linux and cdrecord to burn it 
2. your SCSI cdrom drive isn't spinning up correctly -> try another SCSI cdrom drive
