Hello Diane,The 9.12.0 is essentially the RC for the 10.0.0 LTS release which will be out mid-November (plenty of time for the 10.0 LTS release to get into bookworm.) The 9.0.17 release will be supported for 6 months after the 10.0.0 release goes out the door.
It would be difficult to get 9.0.17 into bookworm. There was significant code surgery required to upgrade to OpenSSL 3.0 and PCRE 2.
Be aware that we made major changes to the security configuration between the 8.8 to 9.0 versions. Please read over the following manual section before upgrading.

Could someone please look this over and approve it?Yay! Thank you for the update. I'll see if we can check it out at our site. The 8.6 version is getting to be quite broken. Though maybe for getting into Debian bookworm is there a chance we could get the long term release version in? At the very least do you think it'd be that difficult to take your current work and back port it to 9.0.17? Diane
