So, the first step is adding tidal into the DHG Package Plan [1] - the package plan is the Haskell Team's list of all packages and versions, which is checked against Hackage and the Stackage LTS to ensure all packages/versions are compatible. Our package-plan repository has CI configured to automatically test package compatibility. I haven't been able to run it locally as it takes quite a lot of memory.
Fortunately, it looks like the only changes needed are adding tidal and tidal-link, plus un-obsoleting hosc.
