I fixed those dependencies (with vty 6 finally being in Debian, I just went with the newer version and the extra dependencies) and just tested the state of commit a0c236c0c33cc6f4864c124dc141ab40cfe1ad65 (after some fixups) - the yi packages build and work for me. There's some unreleased versions (haskell-yi-keymap-emacs and haskell-yi-frontend-vim) that I also tested and could be released with their rebuilds.
