I believe this is a bug in Haddock (since it says `internal error').
It seems that the canonical place for reporting issues is on Github[1].
There is an older report which seems relevant[2], and I already
commented on it, but I believe now that this was a mistake. The above
was working with the previous version of haddock, so we should probably
consider opening a new bug report.
