Well, when you put it that way, anything that can convince you to come
to DebConf ... ;)

One thing is to have a meeting of the haskell team, the perl team 
often does this at DebConf, so why shouldn't we?

I'm pondering ideas about a talk involving involving functional package
management (Nix, Guix), the rise of declarative configuration in Debian
(triggers, control files, tendencies in debian/rules), schroot et al,
docker, reproducible builds. I think these are all interrelated in
interesting ways.

Not a talk as such, but I'd like to look into what it will take to get
Fay and/or Haste packaged, with haskell library packages supporting that
compiler where appropriate.

I'd enjoy getting a broader sense of the state of FP languages in Debian
too, if other language teams get involved in such a track.
