I have been using the Copyright field in the cabal file. In this case the copyrights in the cabal file are different than what's in the LICENSE file. I corrected the LICENSE file in both torrent and bencode. If the copyright in the cabal file is different from that in the LICENSE file should I add them both or just prefer the LICENSE file? Also, should I leave the "All rights reserved." included at the top of their BSD license? (I would have used cabal-debian but there were several blocking issue, see below). I also choose to include Joey as the Upstream-Contact on torrent because he is the Maintainer in the cabal file. Is this correct? Should I also add a new changelog entry in this case? > > > Also in haskell-torrent there are various copyrights around, but do not > match what I find with "cabal unpack". Can you check that again? > I tried cabal-debian but there were too many issues. For one, it would not compile http://paste.debian.net/. However, I know those licenses do exist in the Cabal source but I did not have time to investigate further. I am using the latest Cabal and cabal-install but I'm not certain if that would cause issues. I'll have to get more comfortable with this tool but I'll try it out when finishing HsQML and keter. Thanks for the heads up. I've fixed these issues (hopefully). Will be happy to fix them again if there are still issues. I'll figure this out eventually! -- Christopher Reichert irc: creichert gpg: C81D 18C8 862A 3618 1376 FFA5 6BFC A992 9955 929B
