No. I just want to start it before then. Do you expect many packages to
be broken by API changes or new versions of shipped libraries?

Yes, for now. If a new platform comes out before release (of either
precise or wheezy) then we can consider it then. I see it's due in May
so that should be possible for Debian but not Ubuntu.
