I have met Sönke, the author of Nikki and the Robots. in person
recently, and he showed great interest in getting the game into Debian,
and is happy to help us out, e.g. by making sure the upgrade mechanism
fails gracefully if the game is installed as root.

All required dependencies from this list are now packaged, and partly in
NEW.

Sönke will soon upload two more libraries to Hackage, at which point
I’ll package them, and then the game can follow.

I’d prefer it if the Debian Games Team would share maintainer
responsibility here when it comes to tasks that are game-related and not
Haskell related. I.e. we (the Haskell Group) make sure the program
builds and runs, you ward off unreasonable user requests and worry about
things like a playdeb entry. Are you interested in that?

Greetings,
Joachim
