Wonderful, I rebuilt dash based on commit 4357718c5963d35493e7a80f6db8dca55689aba8 from git://repo.or.cz/dash/debian/jrn.git and then compiled ghc and it worked perfectly. So I guess the only thing we have to do is to schedule another compilation with dep-wait on dash (>= 0.5.6.1-1~exp2) and wait for the new dash. Otherwise we could just upload to unstable, where there still is the old dash version that doesn't have the regression.
